Benham Park
London, England
Benham Park is a Grade II listed mansion built on prime countryside land by 1774-1775 Henry Holland with grounds and an amphitheatre by Capability Brown. Interior designers Albion Nord helped reorganise the layout of the 30,000 square foot house, which included the reinstatement the library that had been removed in the Edwardian era.
Ultimate Library designed a collection of books to fill the large library shelves, combining contemporary and classic reading for those at eye-level, with a blend of vintage cloth and leather books to add age and texture to higher areas. Subject-focused reading and luxury illustrated titles were selected for the whisky and media rooms and the kitchen. In each of the eleven bedroom suites five reading books were chosen to immerse guests in modern countryside living, alongside classics by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

'We used Ultimate Library for the enormous bookcase in the library – they helped us curate a wonderful selection of books.'
- Albion Nord, Sheerluxe Magazine
We believe in the power of books to create a sense of place and new perspectives. Our bespoke book collections have a great impact on a guest’s overall experience of a hotel or resort. It’s small extras like books in rooms and library spaces that make a guest’s stay extra special, and many of our clients receive high praise for their book collections. For private clients they make a house their home.
